Pot Holders are a great accessory to have in the kitchen…why not make them yourself and pick out the patterns to match them to your décor.

What to expect

This is a beginner class, some sewing knowledge is helpful but not mandatory, ages 8 and up are welcome.  In this class, you will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, measure and cut a pattern, sew straight lines.  You will also learn how to make you own bias tape in this class.  We want you to enjoy your time with us and leave with a greater understanding of sewing.  Come join us for a great time and leave with your own new set of coasters.

What you will need

  • ¼  of fabric (if you want you can get 2 different fabrics 1/8 yard each)
  • 1 spool of coordinating thread
  • 1/8 yard of cotton quilt batting
  • 1/8 yard of insulfleece
  • 1 Fat quarter coordinating fabric or equivalent for your bias binding (a fat quarter is an 18 x 22 inch square)

Space is limited and reservations are needed.  Reservations can be made online or by phone.

There are no refunds for any classes scheduled.  Classes may be rescheduled for a later date.

You may bring your own machine; however, it is not required, we have machines available for you to use.

All tools and notions will be supplied for use during class.
