Fiber Arts – Hand Embroidery

Unleash your inner fiber artist in our Hand Embroidery beginner’s class.  Hand embroidery is a great way to express your creativity because it can be taken anywhere and be whatever you want it to be!  You can purchase pre-designed kits or create your own and really the possibilities are endless!  In this class get started by learning 16 different stitches that can be easily created with needle and thread and we will use those stitches to create a great little elephant project!

What you will learn:

16 different hand embroidery stitches Including outline and fill stitches

Different kinds of threads used in embroidery

How to finish your hand embroidery project

What to Expect:

This class is a 6-week class in which each week we learn new stitches and at the end of the class you will have a stitch dictionary and a great finished elephant project for you to keep and further your inspiration for other projects!

Each class will be 1.5 hours long

All supplies will be provided for this class

Sign up is required and you can do so online or by calling us at the studio

All current sewing club members will receive a discount so please contact us to register if you are a current sewing club member.

Epic Students:

We are an approved vendor for Epic and you may use the learning fund to pay for this club.

You may also be able to receive credit for an elective for this class. Please check with your teacher.
